Study: Most applications is a risk to the privacy of users data

Yes most applications is a risk to the privacy of users data !!

In the context of our efforts to find out how dangerous that may pose the applications installed on smart phones for users, especially in relation to the subject of the privacy of their data, Hp's company Has conducted  a sample analytical study on a mobile applications, and note their  ability  to gain access to users' data, and the extent of the risk that may be posed by this apps

results :

The study results indicated that 97% of the total applications have access to users data, including contacts, call log, e-mail, and 86 % of those applications lacking in its entirety immunization necessary security which will protect the data used by those applications. The study also pointed out that 75% of the applications that have been tested have failed to encrypt the data correctly.

HP adds to, that with the assumption of the existence of similar results with thousands of other applications that are being downloaded and installed from applications stores, it would put the privacy of users of smartphones and tablet devices in a big risk

However, HP hints to an important issue which is that not all applications are designed primarily for operations hack or theft, but the problem is the inability of applications to protect users' data, especially when using other applications may take place with the process of exchange of information and without prior knowledge of of the user.

On the other hand, in spite of the considerable efforts made by both Google and Apple and Microsoft to improve the security side of the operating systems own smartphones and tablet devices, but it all does not remain enough, and the  application developers should give more attention  to the issue of privacy which today poses a great debate and widely.
